Our Internet Drain connectivity provider has restored their fiber outage that had caused the traffic congestion and packet loss our customers experienced. They also made traffic routing changes away from the congested parts of their network.
We have turned our Los Angeles and San Jose internet drain connections back up and have verified that their fiber restoral and routing changes have corrected the latency and packet loss.

Our Internet Drain connectivity provider continues to work on the restoration of a fiber outage that had caused the traffic congestion and packet loss our customers experienced. They have made traffic routing changes away from the congested parts of their network.
We will be turning back up our Los Angeles and San Jose internet drain connections in our maintenance window to verify that their routing changes have corrected the latency and packet loss.

Monitoring
Our Internet Drain connectivity provider is experiencing an ongoing outage across their backbone network that is causing our users to experience high latency and packet loss. Our provider is reporting this degraded experience is due to a fiber fault affecting their Strasburg, CA facility hub.
TPx has taken steps to bypass our Internet Drains in Los Angeles and San Jose connecting to this provider. Traffic is now alternate routing across our redundant internet drain. We will retest with customers to confirm their services are back to normal.
Once we have a resolution from our provider we will test and then turn back up the Internet Drain connections to restore alternate routing redundancy.

We are currently experiencing a Minor service disruption impacting Internet Traffic in our San Jose market.
